Hi everyone, this is my blog about my research trip to Ambergris Caye, Belize. I am going with the MS2 masters program through Texas Tech University. I am currently learning to snorkel and identify the fish we will see while in Belize. We will be snorkeling at the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. We are observing the effects of the reserve on reef fish communities. We will be sampling fish abundance both inside the reserve and outside the reserve. I am looking forward to sharing my research experiences with everyone.
